Snorkeling
Snorkeling
The best snorkel guides are excited to share their underwater world with you. They will ask questions about your swimming and snorkeling experience to ensure you are comfortable in the water. They will explain the site, what you might see, and ensure you understand the route you will be taking. They look for unusual coral, hard-to-spot fish, and invertebrates just to see you get excited–they want to talk about what you saw when you’re back on the boat. You will find these guides on our small group snorkel tours. Each of our snorkel tours is for 1-8 people–we want to give you personalized service and the best experience possible. We can also add spearfishing free of charge to any snorkel tour outside the marine reserve.
Each of our private snorkel tours include all park fees, taxes, equipement, rum punch, soda, fresh fruit snack, water, and licensed guides.

Where we snorkel
Our most popular sites are listed below, but our guides also have their favorite, shall we say less populated sites, also.
Hol Chan/Shark Ray Alley
Enjoy the sights of the barrier reef during this snorkel tour. During your stop at Hol Chan you will experience abundant marine life. At Shark Ray Alley you will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with nurse sharks, rays, and jacks as they swim around the boat
Mexico Rocks
A short boat ride north takes you to Mexico Rocks where you will snorkel in a protected area with abundant marine life. Great for beginners but with enough to see to keep the experienced snorkeler engaged.
Tres Cocos
During this tour you will get the opportunity to snorkel at two sites–Tres Cocos and Tuffy. At Tres Cocos you will encounter large brain coral, sea fans, and many marine fish. At Tuffy the marine life is the star of the site.
Night snorkel
There is nothing quite like the experience of a night snorkel; you will see a completely different host of characters. Join us for a guided tour and be amazed at the different creatures you encounter. This tour comes with an additional fee to cover the rental of your light.
Add a Beach BBQ
You can always add a Beach BBQ to your full day snorkeling trip and enjoy a mid afternoon lunch of fresh caught fish and veggies prepared by your guide. This option will add some reef fishing to your trip and the guides will spearfish as you snorkel or you can try your hand at spearfishing too. During lobster and conch season your guides will hunt for them to add to your BBQ. This option has an additional fee and may decrease the number of snorkel stops as you and your guides are fishing for your lunch-but it is so worth it. Not so keen on the fishing? We have also added an option for a Beach BBQ without fishing, there is an additional fee as we will purchase the fish.
Spearfishing and Ceviche
That’s right, we will take you spearfishing and teach you how to make ceviche the Belizean way! Whether you have never spearfished before or are a seasoned pro we guarantee you will have a great time with our guides and enjoy your catch in a delicious ceviche–prepared at either our dock or yours. This is a great activity for both kids and adults and can also be combined with any of our fishing or snorkeling trips. You can even hunt for conch and lobster during their respective seasons. This tour is bookable through the private charter option or as an add-on to any of the snorkeling options.
Tell us what you would like to do–we will work out the details.
With that said, there are only so many hours in a day–or half day. Some tours are not combinable; for instance we are not able to do secret beach and Caye Caulker in the same day. Also, a beach BBQ will require some time spent fishing (unless you opt to purchase fish in advance) which may lessen your snorkeling opportunities and will definitely inhibit your ability to go to Caye Caulker. Our goal is to customize your trip and we will do everything we can to do so within the reality of our time and distance limits.
