We, at Belize Parasail Plus, believe in following the principles of sustainable tourism. Meaning we work to minimize the impact on the environment and local culture while contributing to generating income and employment for the local population. We walk a pathway to manage all resources so that economic, social, and aesthetic needs can be met while respecting cultural integrity, essential ecological processes, biological diversity, and life-sustaining systems.
We are investing to ensure you have a safe and wonderful time on your excursions, in 2023 we added two parasailing boats to our inventory to upgrade your safety and give more places the ability to fly such as Caye Caulker Parasailing and Secret Beach!
We believe in safety. We have a team from the USA come down annually to train our team and ensure we are operating to US safety standards. We inspect our equipment daily, return our parachutes to the manufacturer when they need repair, and replace them often. We have a specially designed stair-style ladder to make our pontoon boat more accessible to people of all abilities. We also maintain a low guest-to-guide ratio. Oh, and our boats are comfy.
We are now on the Aji Tapa Dock, 2.5 Miles North of San Pedro, Belize
And we all thought Aji Tapa couldn’t get any better…..
Our premier and namesake activity is parasailing–parasailing in Ambergris Caye is an amazingly peaceful experience with breathtaking views of the entire island. But we are Belize Parasail Plus because we offer so many other experiences specifically catering to small groups. We can take you to several magnificent snorkeling sites, diving, reef fishing, deep-sea fishing, or any combination–such as our beach BBQ which includes fishing, snorkeling, and a BBQ. Or, how about a champagne sunset cruise, night snorkeling, or spearfishing? Have something else in mind? We will make it happen–let us plan your custom charter on our pontoon or power catamaran. It’s your vacation, we’re just here to help you make memories.
We believe in following the rules and regulations of our beautiful country. That’s why we hold a Trade License from San Pedro Town Council, Tour Operators License through the Belize Tourism Board, we are insured, each of our captains holds a valid license from Belize Port Authority, our boats are registered with Belize Port Authority and Hol Chan Marine Reserve, and our tour guides have valid Tour Guide Licenses–which require background checks–through the Belize Tourism Board. We also belong to the Water Sports Industry Association (WSIA) which helps us remain current on the latest water sports safety standards. Our parasailing captain and crew attend annual training for safety and technique. Our team takes pride in being safe and professional while delivering a fun and memorable experience–we believe you’re worth it!
